Should I Save Online Photos I Find Of My Ancestors?

Oh YES! Save them on your computer. Save them to your family tree software, and websites such as FamilySearch.com or Ancestry.com.

There is nothing worse than thinking, "It's online and always be there", only to find that someone takes their website down. That photo is then lost forever.

If you find actual photos or photos of cemetery stones that belong to your family, copy them, save them, and periodically, back them up on a flash drive. As we all know, computers crash and you may never get them back to pass onto future generations.
